Elise graduated from La Trobe University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Laws, having already completed her Bachelor of Arts at the University of Melbourne. Elise is admitted to practice in the State and Federal Courts.
Elise practices exclusively in the areas of Family Law and Intervention Order proceedings.
Elise assists clients in both simple and complex matters involving applications for divorce, parenting matters including international relocation matters and property division arising out of breakdown of marriage and de facto relationships including negotiation, mediation, litigation before the Federal Circuit Court and the Family Court. Elise also prepares and gives advice in relation to financial agreements.
Having appeared frequently earlier in her career before the Magistrates Court in her previous role as a duty lawyer in the Intervention Order list, as well as before the Federal Circuit Court and Family Court, Elise is highly experience in litigation as well resolving matters by negotiation and agreement outside of Court.
Elise provides her clients with tailored advice, in a practical and understanding manner, to attempt to resolve her client’s family law matters by negotiation, where possible.
Elise also has experience in preparing and advising on Wills and Powers of Attorneys.
Elise is a member of the Family Law Section of the Law Institute of Victoria and the Eastern Solicitors Law Association.
